Ceremony & Reception Location

Are the ceremony and reception in the same location or will I need two different setups to accommodate?

Microphones

Do I need to mic the officiant for the ceremony? I will have a handheld wireless mic available for speeches, toasts, and any other announcements for the reception.

Things to Consider:

Here are few suggestions to consider: 1. Typically for any of the first or special dances in the reception I fade out the songs around 2 minutes or so (it can seem like a really long time when it's just two people on the dance floor--is that something you would like me to do? 2. What will be the age range/demographics for your event? This is not meant to be intrusive, but will help in designing/curating playlists that fit your vibe. Often clients will choose songs they like listening to at home, in the car, or exercising--but a lot of times that doesn't always translate to a "banger" on the dance floor. I'm always glad to play the songs you would like--this is just something to think about...

$50 Non-refundable retainer due with contract to secure event date! Cash is the preferred payment, but if you need to use another method--please let me know! Josh Brown (soundsofbrown) will play songs chosen by the client and/or from Josh Brown's (soundsofbrown) playlists/mixes. Josh Brown (soundsofbrown) will bring the following gear for setup: dance lighting, wireless lapel mic for ceremony, wireless handheld mic for reception, pro audio setup, & necessary cables.

The total fee for this service is the agreed price quote. If _________________ requests additional hours, and Josh Brown (soundsofbrown) is able to provide them, the fee will be $200 per additional hour.

A full balance of ___________________ is due on the day of the event.

If ___________________ wishes to cancel the services, they must give Josh Brown (soundsofbrown) at least 7 days’ notice. Any cancellation after that point will result in a 50% of the final balance cancellation fee.

Josh Brown (soundsofbrown) will require _______________ to provide power & extension cord.

Josh Brown (soundsofbrown) will take requests from ________________ and/or guests of the event, provided that the requested music is in Josh Brown’s (soundsofbrown) collection and/or that time permits.
