SILENT disco CONTRACT
PLEASE READ!
To book a SILENT DISCO EVENT you (the customer) are entering into an agreement with Josh Brown (soundsofbrown.com) and agree to fully adhere to these terms and conditions.
Payment
We do not hold dates without a completed contract. Payment can be made by Cash, Venmo, Paypal, Cash App, Zelle, Apple Pay, or card (if using a card—service fees will be added).
A $50 Non-refundable retainer is due with contract to secure event date!
Equipment
SILENT DISCO checks and maintains all equipment thoroughly. Headphones will be fully charged and all other gear will be in working condition. If headphones are broken (unrepairable or missing), a fee of $40 will charged per broken headphone.
Venue & Event Requirements
WIFI is not required. We must have access to power. Minimum of 35 guests to book.
Cancellations
Should you need to change or vary your booking, SILENT DISCO will do their best to accommodate the changes and transfer your booking, but can’t always guarantee this will be possible. There is a LOW RISK Cancellation! for hirer—if you cancel within 3 days, only a $50 fee is charged.
Damage to equipment and safety of staff
While we encourage the fun use of the headsets if the behavior of guests could affect the safe running of our equipment, damage the transmitters, headsets or other equipment, or rudeness or threats to our staff we reserve the right to immediately cease use of the equipment and remove it from the event. In this instance, the hire fee still remains payable in full. In all circumstances the SILENT DISCO hosts decision is final. We do not accept liability for any damage caused to personal items and/or clothing while using SILENT DISCO
General
The contract is for the hire of SILENT DISCO. The parties to the contract are:
the Hirer, as an individual or an organization whose official representative will be the signatory of the contract.
Owner, Josh Brown (soundsofbrown.com). Any condition not enforced or deemed invalid will not affect other condition. All equipment hired remains the property of SILENT DISCO at all times. Where the Hirer is in breach or subject to insolvency or liquidation proceedings, SILENT DISCO may terminate the contract and collect equipment without affecting any rights to recover monies owing or breach of contract damages. Acceptance of goods and services from us implies that you have accepted our Terms & Conditions.
Charges
All outstanding payments, will be paid on demand. Any broken or non-returned headphones will be charged. ($40 per broken or non-returned headphones). I agree to pay SILENT DISCO the agreed quote.
Responsibilities of SILENT DISCO
Agreed hire rates will be maintained for the length of the contract. Appropriate instruction on the safe use and operation of the equipment will be provided by SILENT DISCO. SILENT DISCO does not accept responsibility for any loss or injury caused by the use of equipment. All powered equipment will undergo appropriate testing and inspection in accordance with relevant statutory requirements prior to commencement of hire.
